BCL 102 stripped receiver set thread

I've got a complete rifle and a receiver set, i need to start ordering all the upper/lower bits. I have a fluted faxon i n 6.5 Creedmoor coming with an odin o2 lite HG. I'm building a Maccabee in 6.5 grendel with a similar look to the BCL, same faxon bbl profile and 02 lite HG, Battlelink stock. My BCL will be in sniper gray or tungsten.

You can add the JP Silent Capture 308 buffer to the "It works" list.

In fact the buffer will allow you to:

1. Use a standard Rifle length buffer tube
2. Use a standard carbine length buffer tube
3. Use the OEM A5 length buffer tube (with some minor modification to the included spacer)

Prereq is an adjustable gas block.

Did anyone notice that the BCL buffer tube is staked with the castle nut?

These are the parts on my gen 2 that have worked: Phase 5 bolt catch extended v2
law tactical folder works
Geissele ssa-e
Raptor charge handle with mods
slr helix dpms high with armalite nut
Ergo grip

Tacmod stock did not work could probably get it to work by cutting a coil off the buffer spring.

Looking for an accurate 6.5cm barrel any suggestions?

For the barrel from brownells are you paying the export fee or just getting it imported thru a tech?

Did you have to modify the phase 5 ext catch? On my gen 1 BCL the upper and lower wouldn’t mate as the aftermarket catch was wider than the factory one.

I have ordered a reciever set and now might need to reorder one of those extended catches for it.

Yes confirmed - That is what I have installed.

If not using the JP SC buffer (noted above) you will need an Armalite AR10 spec buffer and spring.

Normal ar 15 version. Had one laying around for the slr once it's released but figured I'd try it

Fulton Armory ships eh. What is the barrel nut type on the 102? I am really crazy to use the new woven carbon fiber handguard from Brigand Arms.

Anyone look into this handguard further? From a quick look it looks like they only offer a dpms barrel nut. I would love to know if someone gets one up and running. They look quite ###y.

Should be able to muscle thru it not much you can really damage. Worst case scenario you break the castlenut, end plate, ar wrench lol.

From my research its a no go. The barrle nut is DPMS spec and not ArmaLite. Kinda disappointing...
