I wasnt aware of this cartridge and its selection as US “the advanced sniper rifle” cartridge (accdg to wiki) ... why wouldnt they simply select the 8x68s?? The Germans had this one figured out in the 1930’s

.308 flies better than .323?

Anyways. The point of the thread is Lapua making 300 Norma Mag brass is pretty exciting news for any 300NM shooters.
 
It could well be being made under licence with a Lapua head stamp, it has happened before.

Peterson brass is very nice & the Norma will easily go 7-8 firings before it gets too hard & starts primary extracting.

I guess time will tell if it is any better
 
308 Norma is an orphan child in Canada. It is very hard to find. Reloading is the best answer. I love my Norma
