Mechanically very similar. The SU16 and the AR180C use short piston recoil and rotating locking lugs. The bolt and recoil spring assembly would look very very similar. As will a lot of other rifles out there. Its a great design, simple, robust and works good.

You mean that polymer upper/lower rifle for $1150?

Order placed and I was going to purchase a new .44 mag pistol but NR is always a better choice! Thanks again bring it in with such affordable price
 
This is great news!!

Curious as to 2 things:

1. Can it take aftermarket handguards?
2. Will the eventual 7.62x39 version take AK or CZ805 style mags?
 
Love it. I'm usually the pessimistic bastard who rains on everyone's parade, but I got nothing to say. Between this one and the BCL102, there's now plenty to make whatever rifle one could want.

I like the medium barrel. If anyone wants a pencil thin barrel (or heavy, or whatever), they can buy one and replace it.

Barring any unforeseen complication, this thing will be a hit. 1000$ was the price of a budget AR15 not so long ago.
 
Well, I'll swallow my pride after all the stuff i said yesterday and say well done Wolverine Supplies! You may have created the holy grail of rifles in Canada
