Not sure if this has been covered.
Looking for a fix on this issue.
Have two Gen 3 Glock 19's.
They have the Taran mag wells in the bottom.
When my mags are in and I eject the fully loaded mag - it drops half way out and then jams up.

So I have been searching to see if anyone else has seen this and what was your fix. I may just take a sander to the side of the mag.
You can clearly see where its rubbing in the middle/center of the mag.

thoughts?

With original glock mags, I knew someone who would load them with dummy rounds and then mill off the high spots on each side to eliminate the retention feature.

What retention feature? Isn’t that when fully loaded cheap mags will bulge outwards and stick t the inside of the magwell like the old Glocks?

Try reducing the size of the rivet on the back of the pmag with a piece of sandpaper. They are a little high sometimes.

The rubbing seems to be happening directly in the center of the mag down the middle portion.
No doubt its a high spot from bulging.
From the research I see this was common on some early Magpul glock mags.
I will try and sander and see where it takes me.

The magazine body bulge was in fact a design feature on early non full metal lined Glock magazines. The Americans were not fond of the concept and thus Glock changed them to the new full metal lined versions which do not exhibit any bulge when loaded, this dropping free.

I highly doubt you have any early gen Glock pmags, and the replacements do not bulge. Check the rivet as that is likely the cause.
