Wolverine's WK180-C

So why do I see many disgruntled posters in this thread?

I would be more concerned with this rifle running around with an open mouth than anything else.

I'd like an answer to this as well.. A business brings out a very nice product, and still people b*tch around.

If someone doesn't like it, don't buy it! Done, let's move on to the next caller...

Hey Wolverine, i'm looking for the preorder page for the WK180-D (7.62x51, same length, weight, folding stock :) )

In your initial release the letter from Mr Etter stated:

So what other regulators could require an FRT? Just that statement alone I would think would be a warning that more may come later.

Cbsa.

Natural Resources Canada.

Import/Export issues for those two agencies. Nothing the domestic market is concerned about.

Export regulators perhaps?

Some people are REALLY grasping at straws here....why? Why are you so vested in having this thing fail?

Its a matter of time before the FRT is released, ofcourse you'll then find something else to ##### about.

Hey, this gun looks fantastic. Good job Wolverine!! Please work on a 7.62 version and a 6.5 version. I need a black rifle that can hunt and my kids do too!!!

Wolverine has submitted it. They just aren't waiting for it to be published before starting sales.

And since the lower receiver is an exact copy of an existing receiver that already has a NR FRT issued it should be nothing more than a formality to get the FRT issued for this Kodiak Defence version since it isn't an entirely new model being submitted. Just like receiving an FRT for another brand of AR15.

My bet is that the FRT will be issued before these start to reach customers hands and all the people b*tching won't have anything to b*tch about.

I wasn't suggesting an FRT number, just.. testing.

To quote one of our guards at work. "Some people would ##### about their ice cream being cold"

No some of us would like to be sure when we buy something that we won't end up a criminal at the stroke of a pen. I have asked questions and have concerns. I hope that it all turns out in the end to be all warm and fuzzy and I have $ in the game. But there is a risk. There is always a risk.

I have no idea, why not ask him? Could be when I go to export 2,000 units I will be dennied an export permit until I have an FRT? That would be ironic !

Anyway I am waiting for answers from you to my previous reply to your last post.

Every organization can have a bad apple or two, but you make a grave error if you judge them all by that. Think yourself lucky you live in Canada and we are policed by the RCMP even if our pm ( Lower case deliberately) values terroist higher than our veterans.

Good comment Mr Wolverine. Most mounties I've met over the years are decent people (my wife works as a civi with the mounties) and most rolled their eyes at government firearms laws/rules when I spoke to them about it. The Canadian chiefs of police anti-gun schmucks are the ones that play a political game supporting their positions with fear mongering, not facts.

Yup. Pretty much.

Still a new model so new parent frt. But you have the idea.

So for those people, just don't buy it before the FRT comes out. Period. That's the ONLY WAY they can be SURE.

Your biggest concern seems to be the lack of an FRT entry for this item... just wait it out. I would, if I wanted one of these... but my cards are on the SLR right now. :)

Well I have asked if they will be receiving the FRT before we get them and was made to feel an idiot for asking. Go figure. But no definite answer from them if yes or no.

Who have you been talking to? Do you want the FRT first? :) or will you be happy with just a rifle
