BCL 102 bolt carrier parts

If you're looking to just upgrade the extractor maybe look at how the brownells bcg that i got for my bcl102 is set up. They use 2 orings plus a small spring inside the extractor spring. I'm sure the double oring is easy enough to find

If you are having extraction failures you may also want to first check that the gas system is balanced.

Have you tried an adjustable gas block?

Does the JP bcg headspace correctly? On the JP website, they state that the bcg is dpms and not ar-10.

Anyway, OP, try the bolt gas ring leak test. My bcl failed miserably. I replaced the gas rings and no extraction issues.

Gas ring leak test: take bcg out from rifle, put bolt in forward position, place bcg on face of bolt and stand vertically. If the bolt goes to the rearward position, your rings need replacement. YouTube gas leak test to see the test if I'm not making sense.

So I just got my go/no go gauges from brownells...

The brownells bcg doesnt lock up properly with the go gauge. I replaced it with the 102 bcg and it still won't close with the go gauge.

#help

stock barrel? what parts combo? wouldn't be surprised if the stock bolt are all over the place size wise.

I went with the complete JP carrier and HP bolt. Best bet to get one is have one exported from the US.

Stock barrel with stock BCG wont go into battery when I try the gauge in the rifle. I guess I'll have to take the bolt apart along with the barrel off from the rifle to check for sure :(

Boo!

I and was about to order a criterion 18.5" light weight barrel for it... bleh.

Please make sure everything is nice and clean first. AR headspace is best checked with extractor and ejector removed from the bolt.
The bolt should close and be flush with the rear of the reciever +/- a small amount with the go guage.
The bolt should not close and stick out about 3/16 from the rear of the reciever with the no go gauge.

I used gauges ordered from Brownells and headspaced fine with stock bbl and bolt.

Last 12 out of 15 rounds were sub MOA before bbl got warm, they can shoot.

If you take the bbl off check for bbl to reciever play(wobble) without the bbl nut tight.

I took up the play with blue locktite worked for me.
