308 150gr fmj semi auto pet loads

What are your general purpose 150gr fmj 308win loads for a semi auto action. I have lee and hornady data at home but just seeing if there is a run of the mill load that seems to run gas guns well

Not quite 150 gr but I have run 155 AMAX under 44.5gr of RL 15 with really good results in the BCL using Federal Hornady Winchester and Aguila brass.

Using military cases (IVI) I shoot 43gr of H4895 behind a Hornady 150gr FMJ for about 2740 fps out of the 22" barrel of my M14. You can bump it up a bit with commercial cases.

43 grains works well with several popular powders in the classic mid-range: 748, BLC(2), 335, 4895, WC-735 and I'm sure others.

What are you shooting them out of? If it is a M14 clone I would suggest using IMR 4895 or similar to have the correct pressure pulse for your op rod. Others will be along with suggestions on this.

And for IMR 4895, my standard soft load is 41.5 grains. Currently varying off that to find best accuracy.

Hrndy 150 fmjbt- 42.5 gr imr 4895, 45gr varget (any commercial case, any lr primer). I shoot these out of my xcr-m and a ruger scout with great results.

I forgot a have a bag of about 200 IVI brass from 82 or so so I'll probably run that brass for now
