New WK180-C

These days for some reason.... I bought one the other day for 1270 shipped.... That is where they usually sell.

Theyve been selling for around the 2k mark for at least the last 7 years, I presume ur talking about a used one at the 1270 price tag?

Yes. But the benelli is a lot of gun.

Who know's why the new prices climbed so much. I remember $1500 new
I remember when a site sponsor had some new sporting stock ones on sale this last summer for $1600 CAD

Im on the same boat as u, I bought a used pistol grip one 2 years ago for $1200, It came with a Burris scope aswell ! Its been an alright gun for the money,.. The build quality is certainly Benelli class! But given the choice between the 2 now, id probably rather give this new 180 C a try.

I cant yet say if I'm interested in the WK180, but I'm hopeful that its reasonable pricepoint will help hold down the costs of some future NR offerings, and also that it will help fund further NR efforts down the road.

Very interested..
Cheaper than a mini 14 and AR “ish” enough for me.
No doubt accessories will be popping up shortly to fine tune to individual preferences.
However, we seem to be at an all time high of enthusiasm over unavailable products...
Ill hold out until physical product is actually on the shelf.

I'm very interested but ultimately I'm going to wait for NR FRT to be issued and actual Gen1 production rifle to be released, tested and reported on.

At $2,000 for being forced a "DMR" AK upon us with sh*t I do no want on it, yes, I have already completely forgotten about that thing.

The price is certainly right for a lot of people as a general rifle.

I don't think a bit of cosmetic change to the lower really matters to its classification. Since they are machining the lowers from aluminum plates, I don't see why they cannot cut the area behind and above the pistol grip a bit higher into a radius, so people can hold the rifle with a high tang grip and install whatever after market AR15 grips they want.

X2 about the grip.

Seriously? After a few outtakes, adjustments, and a good lube job. You fully believe a couple of videos produced by the distributor?

Ps. I've got a few mag tree seedlings I can sell ya..

Got one from clearance sale at site sponsor. Sent BCG to manufacturer to R&R (free of charge) and installed adjustable gas block (diff.ammo different settings). Now she functions perfectly. Very similar to ar-180b internally and to newly announced wc180k-c

I have to wonder about the choice of aluminum. They are building this out of 6061 yet I believe most ARs are the harder 7075.

I had one for a time and actually liked it. Mine had some "factory fixes". It worked well, but was fairly ugly. I personally dig the 180B look and piston driven design more.

Probably to keep it more affordable. I doubt the aluminum receiver would wear out in your lifetime. Lots of ARs are made out of 6061 and have no problems.
