Where can I find a go-/no-go guage for .223 ?

Hello All,

Newbie question here. Just recently bought a new barrel and BCG for my AR. The barrel is a Anderson manufacturing 16" with a Spikes tactical NiB BCG. My issue is that with the mish-mash of parts going in I would like to check my headspace but I'm having a hard time finding a .223 go/no gauge from any retailers. Is there anyone who can recommend a retailer where I can purchase this. Will Brownells ship an item like this to Canada without some sort of import issue?

Hello there, yes they should ship it to you no problem but make sure its not on the list of parts they cannot ship to Canada.

The gauges in Henry’s web page you’ve put the OP onto are for brass or a completed cartridge.
He’s looking to check the size of his chamber.

OP: order direct from Brownell’s no problem. Limit of order is $500 and you’ll need to fill out an end user statement certificate.

You can deal with clymer directly which is a brand brownells carries. I recently eamiled them about a .308 set and got a very quick reply with a quote that included shipping to canada.

TNA when they get some back in stock or Brownells. I just ordered a set for 7.62x39 last Tuesday from Brownells and I am suppose to receive it today according to their update (cleared custom on Feb06)

Also, if brownells go/no go "kit" is out of stock, check if they have individual gauges instead... you can buy the "go" and "no go" gauges separately and it's the same price. That's how I got my 5.56 "kit" since the actual kit was OOS.

On another note, I think I've said the word "kit" too many times, there seems to be a black 1982.5 transam outside asking for a certain "michael"...
