Would you recommend the 15sa shotgun by alpha arms? And 28 gauge 1/2 inch shells

If there are anyone that has had experience with this shotgun the 15sa made by alpha arms what are your thoughts on it and would you recommend it as fun range gun? How dose it feed light target loads? Is there any other black non restricted shotgun you would recommend for under 600$?

Unrelated to the question where can I find 28 gauge 2 1/2 inch shotgun shells? I have a shotgun from my uncle that passed that I would like to shoot but I can’t find ammo for it anywhere
Both 20 and 12 gauge seems to be to big round wise to fit and the barrel is stamped 28-65 so I am assuming it’s 28 gauge and 65mm is 2 1/2 inches.

Edit: put it in the wrong thread dont think I can delete it?

I have one, the third one that is. Wolverine covered warranty on the first two, thank you Wolverine. This one is running good, no complaints. It doesn't like light loads, it prefers 2 3/4" medium- heavy loads. We put grouse on the table this last fall, using hold over head shots with the open sights.

Interesting 28 gauge gun.I was not aware that they was made a 28 gauge like that.

Yes the 65 mm is 2 1/2 inch.70 is 2 3/4 inch.I have some 28 gauge 2 1/2 inch shells. The older ones are Canuck and I purchased them at gum shows. The others are Reo and I believe I bought them at a general store,a number of years ago.As far as I know, Reo still makes a 2 1/2 inch 28 gauge shell, but it is not as widley available as the Reo 2 3/4 inch 28 gauge shell.

Edit- As for the Alpha, I traded mine pretty quick. Was alright, just felt was a bit gimicky'.
Gimmicky? It looks to be perfect for seeing how fast you can empty the magazine at zombie targets at the range. As for sporting or hunting purposes, it appears to have lttle to offer.

I liked my Alpha, still have it. Everyone loves it on range days. Wish I had more mags. I had no issues with the operation and it runs fine with all ammo, even the light stuff. I do have a red dot and blasting slugs at 100yrd on steel is fun.

I wish the folding stock joint was in a different spot, it has hit me in the nose a few time. if you can get one as a deal, do it.

Looking at the fixed stock version at wolverine supplies

This isn't handy but RST makes 2 1/2" 28 gauge shells and Prophet River can get them for you. They are in Alberta.
