9 Round Mags?

I received my M&P9 Range kit a couple of weeks ago. It came with 4 mags instead of the usual 3, awesome I thought. Went to the range and put about a 100 rounds through it. Really enjoyed my first polymer pistol. Here's the thing. I could only charge all the mags with 9 rounds each. I thought maybe the springs needed time to weaken. Went home and loaded/unloaded them multiple times then loaded them with the 9 rounds again and left them for a week. Back to the range. Another 100 rounds and still will only hold 9 rounds, even when using the Uplula to try to get 10 in. What the hell! Tin foil hat time, is S&W colluding with Trudeau? I disassemble the mag and the grey followers seem to have small feet on them which I believe is restricting the mags. I'm pretty sure if I try to shave those feet down a bit to allow 10 rounds the RCMP overlords would swoop down and take me in for modifying them. I haven't contacted the shop where I purchased the gun yet. Anyone had this experience?
 
Very common with m&p mags. That's why they included the maglula in the range kit. You just have to muscle it in I'm afraid. And yes common diy is to shave the follower down a bit so the 10th round fits easier.

I guess I'll try to shave the followers when I have some spare time Thanks for the info

Broke out the Dremmel and removed approx 1/8 to 1/4 off the legs on the followers. Worked like a charm. Took a whole 20 mins for all 4. 10 in the mags with no problem! Thanks for the advice.

Shave the follower,your bottoming out on the slide before the mag release catches the mag.

Robt; No problem making them hold 10 rounds, you run into trouble if they take 11 rnds., but you will know this I presume you where just letting off steam .
