After years of mostly lurking and buying/selling on the EE, I feel like I've got a great idea. Why not make a thread to centralize all ammo deals in one place? I'm tired of having to dig deep in every single forum sponsor and business section, and dozens of websites trying to find the latest deal. Most of the time you find a great deal online, it's sold out.

So, since this is the .223/5.56nato specific section, we should all post the great deals we find on bulk ammo to help each other out. It'll be easy for others to use since it'll be bumped up each time someone post a deal. This way, it will greatly reduce the possibility of stumbling upon a super deal only to find out it has been posted weeks ago and is now out of stock.

What do you guys think about that?

And, is there any great deal at the moment for 500, 1000 or more .223/5.56 rounds?

Why not make it location specific? I know a few places in Ottawa to compare ammo prices...

I was thinking caliber specific would be easier to implement in every other caliber specific/ fire arm type specific section.

And being caliber specific caters to more people.

Anyway nowadays most deals are found online and shipping is free or almost free.

this is an exemple of the kind of deal I’m looking for (even if it’s not .223):
250$ for 1000 factory Cci Blazer 9mm fmj not steel core. FREE shipping if you buy over 300$, so I bought 2 lol.

https://www.westernmetal.ca/shootin...munition-124-grain-fmj-r-1000-rounds-cci-5201

I don’t expect to pay exactly the same price, but THAT’S the kind of good deal I’m chasing after for .223/5/56.

Would anyone share a good fishing hole where the fish are large and always bite with a stranger from the internet? No, of course they wouldn't, because increased demand will lead to increased prices.

I see it the other way around. When sellers drop their price so close to their cost, they do it expecting to make money on the volume. If it works, by working I mean make more money faster, then they’ll be tempted to do it again as fast as possible. In short that’s capitalism for you.

Fish can’t be created faster if there is demand. Ammo does. So why would I mind sharing a good deal, after I have fully satisfied my need of the product?

Doesn't take that long to shop around, with the technology of the internet, consumers have been saving a lot!

Start with western metal, they are my go to.

That seems to work for a lot of things around here...Nobody takes you hunting, nor is willing to sponsor you for a range membership. Unless you're a foreign real estate buyer and are willing to pay 10 grand for a membership :)))
