Just wondering if you can look up a load for me.

Pretty sure it’s in the Speer manual but I don’t have that one

.303 British
125 gr bullet
IMR4198

May be in other manuals as well?

Thanks!

Speer # 12 does not have a load using 4198
Neither does Sierra
Nor Hornady #8
Nor Richard Lee
Nothing in Nosler

Thank you Sir for taking the time to check, much appreciated.

Somebody on the internet referred to it being in the Speer #14 manual, does anyone have that book?

I like to find multiple sources before trying “internet loads”

I can confirm nothing in Lee "second edition". Wasn't sure if you had first/second.

Even looking at 4198 equivalents, like on this site:

http://www.adi-powders.com.au/handloaders/equivalents.asp

yields nothing.

There it is, thanks very much!!

123 is actually what I’m using, only they are pulled 7.62x39 bullets.

Very economical load if your bore likes the .310 bullets!

No problem - here's the velocities they got (Universal Receiver, 24" HS Precision barrel) with the loads above

Min vel 2638 Max vel 2891
