Hi all
Looking for some ideas for my Atrs non restricted build. Assuming we get Nr on their upper/lower sets.

What options are people looking at for barrels? I’m thinking medium profile 18.75 inch. Suggestions.?

I want a 15” rail , skim prefer keymod type. Suggestions ?
 
Im using my 18.5 inch ACR barrel I have kicking around. :)

For BCG it will be the BROWNELLS LIGHTWEIGHT

Where did you get the cloud defensive mount?

Arms East has acr 18.75 barrels on their site. But I was reading somewhere the gas hole is different size. So I’m wondering if it will work or not. ??

It should, the gas port on those is too big for an ACR which means they probably did no R&D and just ordered some 18.75 inch AR barrels and passed them off as ACR barrels for double the price.
It will be mid length gas system if it's from an ACR so keep that in mind when ordering your gas tube.
 
204 ruger would be sweet for this build. Hope we get non restricted status, and soon. The Lilja barrel would be my pick but what’s that gonna cost all said n done just for the barrel???

The Lilja barrel lists at $490 USD. Factor in exchange, importation fees and shipping. I'm putting it in the ballpark of $800.

True North Arms has a pre-order going for .204 1in12 twist stainless barrels at $469 if someone is looking for one a bit more affordable.

Just checked out the Brownells lightweight bcg. How would it perform vs a standard weight bcg? Would the lighter bolt not be more abusive to the receiver? Lol
 
20 inch 224 Valkyrie. 15 inch Kmr rail if it fits over the gas block, ssae and gen 2 razor 1-6.

Will go on whatever reciever set is available first.

If he’s in NL, that $470 + shipping +15% txs is gonna run him $650 ish
Lilja is about $730.
Is the lilja worth the extra $80?
 
I just bought a used R-15 in 223 with a 22” barrel minus the lower. Will have my first upper rolling for $700, the next upper will be fancier. Granted this if for a similar product. Then again I may sell my second upper in favor of an ATRS set.

The TNA pre-order is $469 in Canadian pesos +$7.95 shipping. So ya it's gunna be quite a bit cheaper than the Lilja.

Regardless of the big difference in $, I would still say that the Lilja barrel is worth the premium over a regular run of the mill barrel.

Barrel - Faxon 20” or custom McGowen (from Mystic Precision)
JP Ultra LMOS aluminum Bolt carrier with JP bolt
Gieselle trigger (probably a national match)
Jp silent capture spring system
SLR riflework Ti adjustable gas block
Faxon Carbon fiber m-lok handguard.
phase 5 bolt catch
Radian charging handle
Magpul CTR stock
Magpul MOE + Grip
V7 weapon systems for Carbine buffer tube, aluminum end plate, Titanium barrel nut, lightweight port door, port door rod, ti grip screw, magazine catch, takedown pin (the front one) and hybrid Ambi safety.
Seeking Precison magazine button.
Haven’t decided yet on a muzzle device.

Optics & mount I’m not decided on yet. Looking at the vortex razor LH 3-15x44, Swarovski Z5, or perhaps the primary armaments platinum 1-8 (but it is sooooo heavy). Or might take the Khales 1-6 off my 3-gun AR and try that. If Kahles made a 1-8 similar to the Swarovski 1-8 I’d be all over it.

Hopefully I can get it around 5.5lb without optic and under 7lb with optic.
