Shotgun Shell Stock Holder

Any recommendations for a shotgun shell holder that goes on the butt stock that isn't one of the cheapo stretchy ones that become useless after they stretch out?

Yes, doesn't have to be leather could be synthetic.

I just use the S&J hardware velcro ones. Place a piece of velcro along the buttstock and attach the 6-7 shell cards. Worked really well for me while waterfowling this past season. No issues with shells falling loose and the reloads for incoming waves of birds was fast. If it can survive waterfowl hunting, it can do anything else.

I've got one of the S&J 12g pouches with the Velcro backed cards and they work great, we'll built piece of gear. I don't think I'd put the Velcro on a wood stock though, a friend has a nice wood stocked O/U and he's got a well made neoprene slip on butt stock shell holder. I'd likely go that way but the S&J pouch is easily worn on your belt and in reach.

This eBay seller has a wide variety of quite nice ones at pretty good prices. Based out of the Ukraine, sort of. With the shifting border in the region, the town he works out of flips back and forth between Russia and the Ukraine. But I've bought a bunch of stuff off him over the years, always been quite happy.
