For anyione loading the .44 Special

I came across this on another forum. One of Brian Pearce's older articles from a 2005 Handloader Magazine, "Handloading the .44 S&W Special".

(I am trying not to buy a Lipsey's Ruger GP100 in .44 Special and articles like this don't help!)

I shoot it in my rifle...

I shoot it in a pair of 3" revolvers. 200 to 240 gr lead SWC and I have found Universal to be a very good powder.

Velocity and power easily matches the 45 ACP.

You "need" to eat. And it's not reasonable or healthy to expect someone to eat the same old meat and potatoes every meal - you "need" some variety in your diet.
