Colt Frontier Scout

Hi all,
recently received my new to me Colt Frontier Scout. Beautiful little pistol but chambered for the expensive .22 wmr. The internet tells me that shooting 22lr from this cylinder is not a good idea. Anyone know where I might find a 22lr cylinder for it? The barrel is marked Frontier Scout '62 22 Cal. I see them for sale on Gun Broker but how would I go about importing?

Dan, Numrich has the right cylinder but I get "shipment prohibited outside the United States."

you could always get prophet river to import it for 50 bucks.

I think the bore diameter for a mag is bigger. My 2-cylinder revolver is more accurate with the mag ammo.

Phone them. They often tag things that can't be done though the internet. - dan
