That is how I feel about my 102... so what if the flash hider wasn’t correctly indexed? No big deal if my upper and lower are different colours... pffft who needs a functioning dust cover and that slop between the upper and lower adds character.

Well Gen 4's have the stupidest CH I have ever seen. Makes you wonder why they didnt just get some Raptors and call it a day. Heck a bunch of US AR10 makers use the Raptor CH instead of trying to reinvent the wheel...lol... O
Gen 5's will probably be 100% non compatible with any aftermarket parts...lol... And we all know all this extra crap they are adding is to raise the price...
Ha well with mt MV-s coming out I wont have to buy BCLs 556 stripped receiver set... thank god for that.
It won't matter, NEA has been building AR's for years and nothing has changed other than changing the name to BCL.
When they build a good one you get a decent rifle for a decent price but they've always had QC issues.

Well 500 of them in the wild is the current estimate based on serial numbers. More problems than I like but hopefully I will avoid the POS lottery. Not thrilled with lack of specs. no anodizing? With Cerekote does the anodizing matter? Wouldn’t you have to bead blast it before cerekote anyways? New to cerekote.
Giving DPMS a run for most hobby grade AR308. Still hopeful as I’m already on the pre order. If they were smart they would make these rifles exceed expectations. Many would end up buying two rather than modding the heck out of one. Penny wise pound foolish.

How is this an even remotely fair comparison? DD builds quality rifles. BCL, well, I don’t know what they build as it changes every five minutes. The only things that’s consistent is their QC.
A DPMS LR308 costs less than $1500 for a base model and while not top of the line will run right out of the box. I don’t want a non-restricted AR if I can’t rely on it out in the field.
You guys can keep your garbage. Me, I’m patiently waiting on the Brownell’s 102.

As far as I'm concerned everything being painted needs prep. I've painted cars, motorcycles, restored a bunch of old stuff, water based, oil, epoxys, powder coat. Poor prep=poor finish. Just look at all aftermarket jeep part, they look great at first then 3-5 years on and they look rusty as hell. Industrial powder coat steel waiting on concrete for weeks, shoot over surface rust ... ** Never done cerakote but its kinda the same process as powder coat exept it's wet and cost more. Clean, Heat, clean, blast, clean, shoot, heat/cure.

Words can be weapons gents. I have a Niece with CP, she struggles though no fault of her own, the last thing she needs is to be reminded of her disability in the name of free speech. She's also a twin, her sister is not disabled. Say the wrong thing around her about her sibling and you'll be spitting chiclets.
