The "What Have You Reloaded Today" thread

Formed 101 9.3x62 from my stash of 30-06 brass. Waiting for a trim body to trim and load.

so, to do this you put a small amount of powder in, and put a wax plug in it and fire it in the rifle?

Or?

I ask because I have a 9.3x62 rifle and wonder one day if I will be able to get brass. I know I can always find -06

I think you can use cream of wheat as well, just gotta clean your barrel very well.

Actually JR, 9.3X62 is on the upswing in popularity in Canada. Tradex sells Privi in 9.3X62 and seem to have it most times. I made a bunch from Rem 30-06 then I bought 100 Rem 35 Whelen and bumped them up..........then I found 100 Graf cases (I've heard these are custom headstamped Privi) at WSS a few years back and bought them.
I doubt you'll have any problem finding brass for a few years in Canada, more rifles currently being produced in this cartridge than there has been for many, many years.

Finally got out to shoot some 110gr TTSX I had loaded up a while back in 7mm over 70gr of H4831...turned in some excellent groups so loaded a whole bunch of them up.

I just completed load development for two rifles. Heading to the range late next week, things should warm-up by then.

.458 Lott with 300gr TSX and 300gr HP. Same POI at 100 meters. Time to re-check zero.

Muzzle speed limited to 2700 fps. Or HP's will disintegrate in flight. HP's are good for practice (off hand of course).

Spent the afternoon and resized/decapped 50 300WM PRVI brass.
Loaded them up with H4831SC, cci 250 primers. Last time out was a bit too windy for me to tell what load grouped best, so I loaded up a bunch more. Most of the brass has been fired 3 times, and only neck sized.
10 x 69.7gr
10 x 69.8gr
10 x 69.9gr
10 x 70 gr
5 x 70.1gr
5 x 69.8gr (new powder lot, want to verify the velocity/accuracy compared to the last lot)

Hope to shoot over (hopefully not at) my new-to-me-chrony. Sat for 29 years, new in box, in a closet. A little wizardry and it seems to be back to life.

Just loaded some more 257 Weatherby ammo.
110 Accubond with 70.0 grains of Reloder 25
110 Accubond with 70.0 grains of IMR 7977.
115 Partition with 69.0 grains of IMR 7828.
Will report later. Had some excellent loads with the 115 Ballistic Tip and IMR 7828. Dave
