Perhaps you would like to elaborate on this. I believe Springfield Armoury does use some mim parts. The Socom 18 might have been the last Norinco type 305’s that where made from the original receiver forgings that where produced in the seventies

Prob a 1/100000 chance, and It still not as bad as recent batch of 308 M1 grand, which have weld up bolts.
Plus, you can always find 305 bolt on EE for cheap.
