I know you are never supposed to cheap out on a scope... so lets just call it a "budget scope" for a CZ 527 in 7.62x39?

I think this rifle has a hard time with some optic due to the space between the bold and actual scope... anyway anyone have a suggestion or two it would be great. Doubt I will be shooting it past 200m?

I've never been much of an optics guy, but hey gonna try something new this spring / summer.

Cheers.

I like the Nikon Prostaff. Bought one a few months ago for a 7x64 Brenneke, liked it so much just bought another for a 9.3x62, this one in BDR. Good clear optics for the price.

CGN first for me...

Buy once cry once, get Nightforce, Tangent Theta, or at the minimum Swarovski... Anything less will explode killing you, your family, everyone your family has spoken to, and 300 random kittens in the presence of 6 year old girls around the world...

Try Nikon, I have never heard anything bad about their glass.

Not sure of your budget, but I have a Zeiss Terra mounted on mine with the CZ rings that came with the rifle. The ocular is small enough to let the bolt slide by.

I didn't get scope rings with my rifle... insert sad face... I am not much of an "optics" guy at all... .22 pinking and shooting into the air at grouse... but I want to take it up a notch.

I don't really know what my budget is, I have been looking in the $200 - $300 range... I've even seen a few under $200 on sale, Nikon for example... Like always, I am easily talked into something a bit more expensive lol.

Might not want to advertise that to everyone... Not exactly the most responsible or safest behaviour with a firearm.

Good lord... insert eye rolling... it's getting to the point where even a "can I get a suggestion on X" thread gets de-railed by "the nervous Nellie / PC police / troll / expert types". Thanks for the laugh sir.

I have a Vortex 2-7x bought for I think $159 on sale at Cabelas. I use mine for deer hunting and while I did not shoot last year the scope was Crystal clear and at 2 power it was easy to acquire a target (squirls from the stand) or use 7x for further not stationary targets. 7.62x39 is a under 150m cartridge and that's exactly how my rifle is set up with shots expected between 25 and 150m. At the range on 7x i can see the holes in the paper at 100m so you can use the scope in several ways.

My only complaint was that after zeroing the scope at 100m I could not easily reset the dials to reflect the new zero. The instructions said it was possible but I felt like I would damage the scope if forced further. If ever replaced I will install a scope that is still on the low magnification end but with better dial adjustments. Still at 100m marks the spot up or down about 2 cm so doesnt matter much as I won't be adjusting anything.

Yeah my range is max 200m which is probably maxing out the 39X round right? If I hunt or backwoods target shoot with it I doubt I would go past 100m.

Is it this one by any chance?
