Feels solid. The upper is aluminum and the lower is polymer. Mags are insanely light weight.

Only in the states as far as I know, I just bought a bunch on sale at Cabelas. It is cheaper than in the states too. About .30/rd

Doesn't need to be. It's a rim fire so only OAL matters.
