I'm in the same boat, looking to scope my 527m and had zero'd in on the Primary Arms 1-6 when I found this thread. Good to see it's got a couple of recommendations here and it seems to get good reviews from what I've seen so far. Looks promising for my choice.

Scopes were mounted in the store so unlikely but I guess possible. Nikon is having QC issues as of late. Remember you heard it here first.
I think this is my plan now... I have a Bushnell red dot that done me well... if someone wants to spend 2 k on an optic more power to them, but it's just not for me lol.

x2!!! The PA scopes from CTCS are AWESOME quality for the price.
The scope you linked is for a scout rifle, where the scope is mounted infront of the action. Thus, it has waaay more eye relief than a normal scope.
A better question for your carbine would be what size scope (ocular lens) can I use, with what size rings, to keep the optic as low as possible and still comfortably work the bolt.
An older used 1-4 leupold would likely fit the bill, I don't see any listed right now but they usually pop up around $250 or so on the E.E.
If your eyesight is reasonable to good you might want to just get a skinner peep sight.... or an NECG if you don't want to drill and tap.

I looked at the Skinner as I prefer peep sights but it's not just the rear sight, I believe you'd have to remove the front sight hood as you'd need a replacement front blade and Skinner's website says he doesn't ship up here anymore. I love a peep that would allow me to keep the front sight as is.
I didn't write that very well... I just mean I have had a Bushnell red dot on another rifle and it was decent enough for me. I think I will go for a Bushnell scope for the CZ but not sure which one.
You're right... this isn't the easiest rifle to scope...

Okay makes sense. Yeah it depends on what rings. I bought my rings/mount first then did some measuring. I think I could have gotten away with a 1.7” eyepiece diameter scope but that was tight. I am not certain if all bolts were the same so that might affect clearance.
Ok lol... I googled that and have seen some ppl put a scope down in front of the action with the CZ. I know very little to nothing about scopes... I had one on my .22 at one point, but to be honest I took it off and went back to iron sights. I've had success with a red dot on my sub 2000, that's it.
This is probably somewhat of a stupid question but how do scopes rated for .223 rounds fair with X39 rounds?

Nothing special, but hard to go wrong in my experience with a Bushnell 3200 2x7, unless you prefer something with a heavier duplex.
