chatting with a fellow yesterday who wanted some suggestions on a new bipod purchase,
needless to say I know nothing about what is currently being used or by whom

this has been asked before but what is the 2017 flavour and features to look for on ground or from a bench

Have a Remple but this question was for folding bipods familiar with the MP as well

The PRS Facebook page has a breakdown of the gear used by the top 100ish shooters.

Harris and Atlas are pretty even with Atlas ahead by a very small margin.

If you go Atlas make sure you get the PSR version.

I have both an atlas and a harris. While I don't do any PSR competitions, I do precision shooting. Of the two, I [prefer my Atlas with the spiked feet. It gets excellent purchase on all surfaces (but it will #### up your dining room table or hardwood floors)

I run a Harris with spikes on my rifles but if you're looking for the most flexible system, have a look at the new Ckye-pod. It's expensive, like $450 USD but it does everything a Harris or Atlas with long extensions and spikes will do without having to add extensions. It's barely more expensive than if you get a Harris(with podloc) or Atlas and then ad something like the Riflesticks adapters and extensions.
