Bushnell 6-18×40 Rimfire turrets ??? Are they useless ?
I purchase a Busnell 6-18×40 rimfire scope for my 17 hmr rifle. It states in the manual to sight the scope in at 25 yards then take the turret off and set it to 25 yards . From there you just need to turn the dial to the yardage that you are shooting at .........
Ya way off! I went from 25( yards after sighted in and reset turret to 25 yards ) then moved the target out to 75 yards , set the dial to 75 yards and the impact point is 3 inches high???? I ended up having to turn the turret in the opposite direction than the way it stated on the 17 turret like half a turn to get it set at the proper yardage
Any idea what I'm doing wrong or did busnell just screw things up this bad on this scope? At this point I think the 17 and 22 turrets it comes with are usless
