Greetings Gun Nutz, from all of us here at CompassArmor!

LTFDNIJ2012-01-3A that’s the only piece that’s certified & the rest is compliant only which means purchasing would be at ones own peril & as asked above does your insurance back armor sold in Canada ?

Hi Gadget
I understand your concerns. And yes, the model designation number you linked is our certified ballistic panel insert, we use that same certified ballistic panel insert in our carriers. In other words, the ballistic panel inserts used in our carriers (i.e. our body armor) are all the same certified model. One model can fit in many different carriers.

Second, I’d like to send you our H.P White Lab shooting testing report for our ballistic panels and helmets, and more detailed information to your email, if you’d like!

As for the insurance, my apologies if I did not clearly answer your questions (I thought Boltgun was talking about product warranty, that was my English mistake.) We are working on it right now. Before we were just doing international retail selling so it wasn’t necessary, but now that we are trying to build up our service more locally, we will definitely be getting insurance down shortly.

Sorry I do not buy Chinese!

Oh ya!! Must me nice being so filthy rich you are able to ensure what you buy is not Chinese lol. Just like the idea of supporting a us company instead. ya the guys trying to bend us over with tariffs on steel and aluminum.

Welcome to CGN Compass.

Welcome Compass

Anyone from YYC up for an order? Tough I am interested in a bit more information about what kind of anti-sprawl coating is used.

Dear 220,

I understand your concern, but you must know that under global economic integration, products are often made involving parts and processes from multiple countries. You may see a German product assembled with parts from China, Japan, Korea and/or the U.S. Actually we purchase our raw ballistic materials from TEIJIN Twaron aramid and Dupont Kevlar aramid.

I assume you mean anti-spall. This being the case, it really only needs to be applied to steel armour. From what I've seen the plates Compass are offering are aramid and Ceramic, in which case there should be no spalling or bullet splash.

i have a set and they seem to be very good quality...price was amazing. I'd rather have a few sets of affordable than one set of prohibitively expensive...theyre all rated to the same standard anyways.

I have not checked your website yet, but do you have (or can you make) larger rectangular and "shooters cut" plates (eg. 11" x 14" or even 12"X 16") ? As well as plate carriers/vests that can hold larger plate sizes?
