They don't even list them on the website. Since wholesale is gone cabelas is my next choice in town for bullet selection. I would like to order some 120's and 140's for my 7mm08. Cabelas is convenient because I don't have to pay shipping to get items delivered to the store. Just wondering if anyone knows the reasoning. And yes, I do buy a lot at north pro but their bullet selection us only so-so.

Because hey aren’t a reloading store.
They are an outdoor superstore that carries too much variety, and nothing in any entire niche.

Try any of this sites better sponsors that are real retailers of reloading components.

Make sure to contact Northpro and let them know what you are looking for, even if they don't have it. The more people that ask for an item the better chance they will bring them in.

With Cabela's no stock in 7mm, and WSS closing, it's now mail order from site sponsors now for me for Sierra's.

If a person purchases other items like primers, and solvents that a person can't readily obtain for a good price in Saskatoon, I have managed to make it end up at the same dollar value as local.

As Lead Hammer put it...North Pro I believe has a significant opportunity to service more of the market here. I'm sure if they polled current and potential local customers for reloading components they could move more product. Whether reloading components pays for them as a business is another story.

Write to them and ask why. They sure as h*ll don't care that you write about it here.

If they don't sell enough of them they won't stock them. Thats how most of the large retailers stock inventory nowadays.

Thats it. If a product is gathering dust on a shelf waiting for that one customer........retailers stock what moves quickly simply because retail space is expensive.

Stock will evolve to align with Bass Pro. There's a row of Berger yellow where there was none before.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. IIRC they yellow tagged 180 gr 303 Sierra on the shelf a few months back. Now it seems to be back.

Perhaps Cabela's/Basspro has done their research and there is a larger market for the 30 cal Berger stuff in Saskatoon (or in Canada) over the 7mm Sierra. We'll see if it moves off the shelves here.

I have noticed here in the Ottawa store that the bullet selection used to be 6 shelves has condensed to 3. Not a good thing for reloaders. Thank goodness for local merchants.

super stores only carry the most popular selection. When I want something different I go to Mom and Pop. The downtown hardware store in Sussex, NB can get me anything, especially my coveted 7-30 Waters. The strange thing is they have the same firearms wholesaler as Canadian Tire, Bass Pro and Cabelas.

That's pretty much what most big box merchandisers do they want every nickle out of the shelf space paid for for the most money
