Just upload it to a site like IMGUR and then link the pictures ..there is a FAQ on how to post pictures using it..I don’t know how....I could email you a couple of pictures ?
IIRC, “Race gun” meant it had compensated match barrel, i.e. Barsto, Clarke or Kart. I think they were also called “pin” guns.
Triggers were replaced with Videcke or McCormick with screw over travel stops.
Stock spur style Hammers were replaced with Commander style ring hammers.
Swenson and Ed Brown ambidextrous safeties we’re popular too.
You could also do all-Wilson Combat supplied parts on a Colt, Remington or Caspian Arms frame and slide.
Honestly pre-IPSC, the gun won't bee worth much in general. A full compensated non optic is worth undeer $1000, if it was a pin gun, or made for bullseye a lot less.
Best to keep and shoot it, as you would be lucky to get $500 for it
I use Bullseye and load it on the light side 4.9 and it's nice to shoot with minimum kickHard to know how it shoots with me behind the trigger , lol ! To be fair to me and the pistol I haven tried anything but bulk hardball 230 gr Blaser and American eagle. It’s a handsome, tight old gun.....and I agree, it’s worth more than $ 500. I’d never sell it for that if I’m wrong. Any recommendations in respect to handloads that won’t make it jump out of my hand ?
I think that price is low, if it is a good tight gun, would be worth more than that , I can't read the printing on the slide, ww11 gun , if matching, but no collector value now, people are getting 400.oo slicked up Norinco's now.
#1 question How it shoots?
Any recommendations in respect to handloads that won’t make it jump out of my hand ?
