Can anyone explain the difference between these different CZ handguns?

I just don't understand why there is a price difference of almost $1000 between a:

CZ SP-01 Shadow ($1000)
CZ Canadian Shadow ($1700)
CZ SP-01 Shadowmate ($2000)
CZ 75 Shadowline ($1500)

Also, why are the aluminum grips considered such an upgrade? The rubber grips that come on the SP-01 Shadow feel amazing and are very grippy.

Please and thank you.

There can be a difference in sights (front and rear), barrel, and trigger job. Trigger jobs will vary between models and also in the same model. I've seen Canadians with front fiber sights, front and rear fiber sights and and various degrees of trigger jobs and range from 1500 to 2000+.

I think I've heard that as well- that the Canadian has a trigger job.

The problem is when shopping for these guns, half the time there isn't even a description detailing what the difference or upgrade is. And the CZ website isn't very helpful.

That is very true and when I picked mine up I went to a rellers store and handled what they had and made my choice that was at the time it was a regular Shadow and the Canadian that was about $500-$600 more
