Hey guys,... I'm kind of curious how many 358win users are here on Gunnutz,..

Feel free to post pics of your rifles,.. pics of game takin with them,.. hunting/shooting stories,.. your favorite hand load recipes,.. or what ever you like,...

I'm thinking this could be an interesting thread for us 358 Winchester users,... and maybe even make 358 Winchester fans out of some less fortunate gunnuters that haven't discovered what a great round it is yet.. lol

Ruger Frontier I load 250 Hornady’s with 40 grains of IMR 4198 , kills moose, and deer on the the spot with very little damage.

I have one built of a Remington model 7 action use the sierra game king and Imr 4198 have shot 21 deer all one shot bang flop it's my go to deer rifle for woods and fields out to 200 yards love this round

Ka-bong! My 358 BLR takedown. One of the more useful and versatile rifles in the collection. Great for plinking with 158gr 38 caliber (0.357") pistol bullets. Quite adequate on heavy game at close range with the 310gr Woodleigh. Like on this trophy Cow Moose. ;)

Loving my .358s! Have a BLR stainless & a Ruger M77. I'm taking my BLR on its first Bear Hunt this August....Going to be shooting Buffalo Bore ammo which utilizes the Barnes 225gr TSX bullet.
In this era of fans schmacny WSMs and flavour of the month military wannabe rounds, the .358 is not just a classic, but a regal king of hunters calibers. Very few can compare. A short action round, cable of taking anything in North America, in a medium bore with moderate recoil. Here is my baby with a Trijicon 1-4x from deer season

It's one of the calibre's I've meant to acquire but  haven't done so, ;) yet. In the meantime, I have however, picked up a couple of its slightly bigger 'relatives'. A pair of 358 Norma Magnums.

Great little round , have had a dozen of them along with all the 35's
I like to load the 225 Woidleigh RN with enough TAC to push it slightly over 2500Fps. Inside about 225yds flattens bears

I have 4, Browning BLR, Savage 99, Winchester 88 and a custom Vangaurd I had built last year. I’m a big fan or the 35 calibers also own a 35 Whelen, a 358 Norma, 35 Winchester and a 358-300 RUM

I shoot the .358 Win and have had several rifles chambered for it, including a bevy of Ruger M77 MKII's and 3 or 4 BLR's. My nicest was an M77 Carbine that resides in another members home... the rifle felt terrific to carry and shot several 1/4 MOA groups @ 200 yards with Hornady 200 FTX and 225 Partitions. I have a Pre-81 BLR, and I am looking for another M77 MKII. I have a stainless M77 MKII build underway in .358. I also shoot .35 Whelen in a Ruger No.1-A and .350 RM in a Ruger M77 MKII Stainless.

Don't own one but think it looks very interesting (This and the .338 Federal).

Really loving the BLR take downs.

Scrummy

I'm currently saving up for a 2016 Ruger Hawkeye special edition in 358. This will be the final gun to add to my collection. I hope ammo manufacturers get on board and start making this mainstream. Honrady is currently the only ammo available.

I have a Blr in 358 . Great little gun to pack around and shoot. I also have three model 7 Remington's in 350 remington magnum and one ruger tang rebarreled in 350 remington. The .35 caliber cartridges seem to just out perform their paper ballistics on game . Bang flops are the norm.
