I have a S&J linear comp on my 10.5" build. Shot the rifle for the first time ever. Was fun... sound was thrown down range and kick wasn't anything special.
Haven't had the chance to check it out yet to tell you the truth. I have had the Warcomp for about 4 months but it is on a 14.5" carbine MK16 clone. All my shooting lately has been with the 11.6 MRR so I haven't seen what it's like. For me the loonger barrel lengths usually come out during the outdoor range season. Never really cared for a comp so it hasn't been at the top of my list to try it out. Bought it more to try it for the first time and see if it made a difference. Not a double tap shooter so it probably wouldn't affect me that much, lol.
Well I decided to try out the S&J linear comp. Some of the other options sure look good but with the cost of my AR ever increasing I just couldn't stomach the added cost at the moment.
Thanks for all the replies, it's great to be able to learn from those more knowledgeable than myself.
Got a troy medieval on my 10.5. loud and shoots flames during daylight lol. Kills the recoil though (almost none) so follow up shots are easy. Super fun though I know some people don't like muzzle brakes in general.
