New WK180-C

This has effectively destroyed the resale market for Swissarms, NR-ACR's, Tavors

The 180- c ?! Lol hell no! Will it damage the sale of SU 16's, MR1's, .223 VZ's, 180b's and mini 14's ? Now that I agree on.

These new SLR. Like recievers coming out tho... . Now those I agree will damage the ACR, XCR, APC, SL8, Swiss arms market here in Canada.

I for one know I've completely dropped my plan of buying a NR ACR, and substituted it with the new ATR upper lower when it comes out!

Won't hurt anything at all. Except the immediate budget of whoever buys one.

All the options so far have not stopped me from buying whatever I fancy at the time.

Only thing I'm worried about is that the contour and length in that area may make the LOP of the gun with the stock I want to put on it (ARFX) too long. We'll see, I guess.

There are 2 different lengths of the ARFX stock available.

The standard one that is listed as 9.9" in length. Also a carbine length version listed as 7.25" in length.

You can get either length of stock through CTCS. I have a feeling that the shorter carbine length stock will suit this rifle better.

Although not as nice as the ARFX, the Magpul MOE Fixed Carbine stock, listed as 8.8", may be another viable option for the WK180-C. Probably the best option as far as creating a proper length of pull goes.

Why is the stock attachment a seperate piece? I get they are channeling the AR180 but why make it an aluminum brick? CNC machine are very capable these days. Add some pizzazz to it.

Yep, my thoughts exactly. Chop that whole thing off and include some nice contoured adapter plates. A basic AR stock one, a factory AR180 stock (or ACE hinge style) or ACR stock types etc...

I guess it's only a thousand bucks though so they have to cut some corners on making it pretty :p

Haha, I already have one in the parts bin... hence my trepidation. I'm hoping to be able to use it for this rifle. Trying to avoid buying another stock for it.

Not really just looks on that. It is ergonomics. Anyone whos spent an amount of time with that A2 grip knows how terrible it is. All my ARs have the extended beavertail so I can get a higher grip on it.

I have yet to notice that I dislike the A2. I am however new to the AR platform.

Yep, I will be avoiding anything NS gets their hands on and attempts to distribute after the BS they pulled. If they are the distributers for something I want, I will simply import it from IRG myself and avoid NS

Not to mention the arrogance with which they reply to people's questions :D, they think they own the gun market or something.

10 years on with a C7 and longer with an AR15, I still like the A2 grip.

That said I greatly prefer the LSO A2 grip.

I am not the only one who gets wrist problems with it. Hence why there are ton of aftermarket grips that have a more vertical angle. I lost feeling in my middle finger for almost a week after using a A2 for a extended period. I guess it can also be how I hold the A2, I have my middle finger above it and my index finger under the trigger guard which makes the angle even more extreme. I've seen some people grind down the nub on the A2. I grinded down the sling loops on the end plate on mine.
