Leupold freedom rimfire scope

Ya I don’t think it’ll beat my vx 2 rimfire scopes except for the reticle maaaybe :) I have a super good eye for comparing things so I should b able to tell ya which one has better glass

Most reviews are also saying they are larger than the VX series. Interesting to your results as the Freedom line has a good price point.

Ya a bit chunkier apparently. It’s finish is also not as good I hear. It’s half the price tho I paid for my vx 3-9 efr so whatever. Hope it works reliably

Just going by the dimensions that are published on Leupold website, the new 3-9 Rimfire looks dimensionally identical or at least very close to my VX -1 3-9×40 c.f. scope.... The turrets and the magnification rings look different.

Ah. I never checked those out it just looks a lot chunkier in the photos. Monday my scope is here so shall see how pleased I am since I’m such a picky guy

Think you will like this new rimfire scope. The reticle is off the hook lol. Bigger fiend of view than my vx2 3-9 efr. Basically exact same clarity from the short time I had comparing them. Turrets are slightly nicer feeling on the vx2 efr scope. Scope quality looks good especially for the price. Wonder if they made them in China why their so much cheaper??

I had read somewhere that the change in turret design saved a lot of machining costs, how is the size and weight between the Freedom and VX-2? Opinion on the Finnish?
Thanks

Mike, any chance you could snap a picture of the reticle and post it? I see it on Leupold website but it is not the same as looking at it through the scope. Thx!
