Looks unfired, if not maybe a couple of rounds? Anyway 1983 183 series. Idea of value thanks.

Try to shoot it first, I had an older stainless folder like that and couldn't sell it fast enough once I saw the groups it was capable of. Some of those earlier ones were truly broad side of a barn accurate.
Also, don't buy one if you're a hand loader, they are really hard on brass and throw it close to 30 feet.

Back in the early 80's I had one in a wood stock; sold it for way less than I paid, and was glad to be rid of it. Never again. $200.00 would be more than I would pay.

Remember the original A-Team? Could not hit a f****** thing with theirs either.

One of the few times in TV where the depiction of firearms use was pure truth!

1983 called.

Hannibal wants his rifle back.

IIRC, their accuracy is so bad they are incapable of hitting or killing anyone. They only seem good for shooting out the tires and engine blocks of your enemies vehicles, which causes them to flip onto their roofs and explode.

Its the cheap folding stock not the good BC one or iconic factory folder so it takes away value. Its the older style with the cruddy barrel and more limited optics mounting options. The only thing going for it is its SS.

$700 would be a optimistic price

I should not be completely negative; it sure looked nice, and I loved the way it fit and handled for me; just shot like a load of buckshot; one pellet at a time.

I really like mine. I've been offered ridiculous amounts of money for the stock alone, but I'm never gonna let go of it. Used it a couple of times growing up, and the old pencil barrel models do leave a lot to be desired. I'm working on a DIY barrel strut, so hopefully that and the Ultimak rail help a bit with the accuracy. I'm not expecting the same performance as my AR-15, but having a non-restricted alternative is nice.
