That is difficult to do without knowing the model. Whether it's a Semi Auto or Revolver.
I suspect you have a model with a prohib length barrel?????
Depending on the frame, if it's a revolver, Tradex, a banner dealer at the top of the page has barrels that will work on Model 19s down to 10s, but they are for 38 caliber only. If you have a 22 and can't find a replacement barrel, likely more than the pistol is worth. Custom barrels can be made but you're looking at $400 or more by the time a smith profiles one from a blank. It isn't a difficult job but it is very time consuming.
I picked up a replacement M39 barrel from Bits of Pieces a few years ago for my own personal use. Nice barrel, well done. It took close to a year to get it and the cost was about 40% more than I had been quoted. Slightly over $400. Barry would have installed it without extra charge but I didn't feel like going through the hassle of shipping and at that time getting the ATTs to send it to him.
Fitting either a revolver barrel or a semi auto barrel isn't as straight forward as just screwing off the old one and screwing in the new. The barrel has to index properly so the sights are top dead center and the clearance between the cylinder and the base of the barrel has to be correct. Semi Autos need to have their barrels fitted as well so that headspace is maintained and they lock up solidly when the slide comes into battery. This isn't a job that should be attempted at home unless you are familiar with the procedures and have the skills/tools available to do the job.
There are a couple of good smiths that I can vouch for who come onto this site. Tiriaq, and Guntech as well as others.
