The Forbus Tactical Braided Carbine Buffer Spring was designed to improve the function and reliability of your AR-15 series firearm. The unique design uses 3 independent, intertwined springs which flex separately from each other to acts as a harmonic damper and energy absorber. This displaces excess energy which decreases the chance of spring failure and assists with making your AR-15 more reliable.

Made in the USA
Works with standard AR-15 buffer
Decreased chance of spring failure
Increased strength to assist in stripping rounds from the magazine
Longer service life
Quieter operation
Caution: Not compatible with rifle length or A5 buffer tubes/receiver extensions. Not recommended for 300 Blackout subsonic ammunition as it may be too powerful and not allow the rifle to function properly.

Only $39.99 at Maple Ridge Armoury

Hmmm...I didn't know that this was available for the AR platform. C9 recoil springs are made like this, I guess those will last a lifetime in an semi auto AR-platform!

This works with a standard carbine buffer I assume?

The reason I ask is because the Geissele braided wire buffer spring has an internal diameter smaller then a standard buffer spring and requires a modified buffer to fit, which they sell as a kit with their spring.

The Forbus Tactical braided buffer spring will work with a standard size buffer which we will be making next month. Carbine, H1, and H2 with some added features.

Could you not just use a spacer with it in a rifle length tube. I have one of the JP captured buffers and it simply uses a nylon spacer for use in rifle length buffer tubes

Yes you can use a spacer. I've installed an A2 stock on a rifle and made an appropriately lengthed internal spacer so that I could still use the carbine length buffer and spring. Works mint
