Now that my M305 has the replaced GI trigger and hammer and its no longer bump firing the entire magazine, I got to actually test the gun today. First I will show you a photo of when I sighted in the gun. The ammunition used is Aguila or Mexican Eagle. Distance is 50 meters.

Now for a photo with my reloads. I was doing a simple ladder test today of three charges. 42gr, 43gr, and 44gr of H4895. 8rds of each. 3 rounds for 50 meters, 5 for 100 meters. Bullet was Hornady 150gr FMJ. I wasn't able to do the full test and only managed to test all loads at 50 meters. 42grs had the best results for accuracy although 43 and 44 weren't that much worse than this. So here is my target for 150gr Hornady FMJ, 42grs H4895, w/CCI 200 primer @ 50 meters.

Will you change out anything else on the rifle, or are you satisfied with how it's operating now? I find that swapping out the stock is perhaps the best upgrade you can do for accuracy, but some of those plastic stocks aren't too bad on the Norincos. If you're getting under 2 inches with whatever ammo you feed it, you got a great rifle.

Yes. Next is the plastic stock. I really like the feel of the Springfield plastic stock on their Standard and Loaded model. I'm also considering on replacing the front and rear sight with USGI. I may just grind down the front sight and get a USGI rear sight. I have the rear sight dialled in at 600 to have it zeroed at 50 meters! Well actually its not zeroed because its shooting low still. I'm just out of adjustment in the rear sight now.

What version of the rifle do you have that shoots that far off? Just curious is it the socom style front sight or shorty style?

I found a great M305 sight mounting option which is the CASM RD from M14.ca. I had to wait a couple months for delivery but wow it's a solid mount. It goes where the rear sight is and then you can mount a reflex optic or short scope.
