Just over 2 pounds. Forend is 12 oz Butt is 23 oz.

Will do. Installing a 308 match barrel (heavy) cut back to 20", and chambered with a 303 reamer. Looking for an accurate, handy rifle.

It's not difficult to get here at all.
The one Boyds stock I bought was $129.00US, once it arrived here (and came through Canadian customs) it was $285.00 CAD.

Novel concept on the cartridge!! I like that you are keeping the .303 BR casing profile, but necking down for the .308 projectile!! Should be a little firecracker that!!

It solves the problem of magazine feeding, extracting and ejecting. And I have lots of 308 bullets.

I just bought a Featherweight Thumbhole from Boyd's for my Wife's Tikka, this time there was no duty or taxes about $98 US came to about $200 cdn with shipping. Sometimes there is duty and tax sometimes not.

Yeah i also like the sounds of that. Lots of bullet slection. I may do this on a build some day.

Excellent idea , and one I've contemplated for years . I'm down to my last 100 Norma 215 gr bullets , when they're gone , it'll be time for a 308 bore and Hornady 220 gr RN's . Post pics when you have the stock on .

I made one before, and it works well. I also made a light sporter in 308, using the 308 magazine and extractor.

The version with the 303 brass runs smoother.

They ship here no issues. Their limit is $500 usd before shipping

I used a Boyds in that colour to stock a Ruger a few years ago. It gets a bit of attention at the range.
