New addition - 454 Casull by Uberti

I just picked up this 454 Casull. It's a bit unusual in that it's a Uberti, and the model is the Tornado. It was manufactured in 2002 and is still unfired. I think that will change, the first chance I get to take it to the range! Thankfully it has a ported barrel, and a nice addition is the target sights.

Uberti no longer makes these, so the search will be difficult. I only see the odd one pop up in Italy and the USA, but very seldom here in Canada. So, when I spotted this one I grabbed it!

I use a thin glove with max loads in my Blackhawk. The bottom edges of that grip look sharper than mine. Pretty though.

A glove with some rubber inserts might be just the thing, but that is up to you.

Yes on the gloves. I already have a thin pair of shooting gloves with light padding, so will definitely be wearing those. I'm a bit of a fair weather shooter, but as soon as it is warm and dry enough I will be at the range! Range report to follow.....
