Some can take AK mags or even drums, can be modified to accept optics/NVG scopes, aftermarket stocks etc. Can be converted to fire full auto. More reliable than an AK IMO and as accurate as CZ at ranges up to 200 meters. Sure, it's no match to an AR or even CZ when it comes to dimensions and weight. I still think our government is targeting specific kinds of firearms for the second time for some stupid reason unknown to me. Not like they went after AR's, Valmets or pistols in general like mayor Miller did when CZ and Green became prohibs first time. Same thing is happening again. I really believe it will blow over in 2-3 years.

The two rifles going back prohib was obvious. I'm not even close to surprised on this.
It's the obvious set up of with this bill though that worries me. Now the RCMP can reclass any rifle as they see fit to this new 12(9) class, then register it under prohib, soon they will start denying ATT's (obviously) then eventually owners die off and the guns get smelted. Next over to the 12(9) class will be the AR's, then the SKS's then the M305's, then all the semi auto hunting rifles and shotguns etc etc In 20-40 years there will barely be a single semi auto left out there of any kind if this is allowed to go down.

The CZ858 was always overpriced but that's just my opinion even when I bought one for just under $800 when they first hit the shores.
I guess if you're too dumb to read the writing on the wall of where this bill is going in the next couple years then you're dumb enough to pay $2K to bend yourself over a table figuratively lol

Our only hope here is voting this utter joke of a Prime Minister puppet and cutting his cancerous string pulling Liberal shadow masters out of parliament in 2019.

Well if you want a prohib license this might be a way to get one. Who would have thought they would ever give out prohib licenses again, it's been considered impossible for many years other than 12.6 for inheritance of specific pistols. I don't see the point myself but each to their own.

I suppose if a person had money to take a chance on the Att's coming through forever, then buy one for the prohib status, but I wouldn't bet on it with the Liberals holding power!

Well as with many things, it is already illegal to modify or own a full auto firearm in Canada, and I don't believe it can be easily done!

The bill is ambiguous. I have read it. It's not what it says that worries me. It's what it leaves open in the lines between that worries me the most.

You have a poor understanding how this works. You won’t be able to aquire prohibited firearms outside of the class your allowed to own. The gov isn’t giving you sh*t.
