I got one before and they are quite good. Not sure on the lumens and maybe not cutting edge anymore but bright and well made.

Curious as to what kind of batteries this takes and how long do they last.

They take x2 CR123's. Should also take a x1 18650 rechargeable.

Not quite sure on battery life but will last a very very long time
