Hi Everyone,
I am wondering how the T97 Gen2 top rail is attached to the gun ? is it a solid contact ? does it wiggle if I put a heavy scope on it ?

If you have a picture handy that would be even better.

Any comments are appreciated !

Gen2 one is attached by 2 screws. Which you might need to add a crush washer since mine does loosen up after a few mags. But now with 2 strong crush washers added they are very firm. I can take a pic of my setup if you are really interested. But then I have to unmount the scope and unscrew the top =P give me a bit of time

Thanks for the reply. No need to take it off yet. A pic from the outside would be more than enough.

Pic5 -- screws and (optional crush washer ... which is not included). The screws are not too long and will come loose after you shoot a bit. Either loctite it or add crush washer. After I done that nothing came loose even after 300+ rounds range day.

Thank you so much for posting up these pictures. So do you ever need to take off the rail to clean the gun? Is it possible to permanently attach the rail to the rifle so it holds zero 100% ?

There is no need to take the rail off for cleaning actually. I only need to take it out to change the charging handle direction (I prefer right like SKS and etc but it came on the left side by default) The gas pistol parts takedown is in front of the rail so you can just take out the piston and clean. The rear takedown will access to the main spring and the all the bolt and trigger stuff. I never need to take out the LHG as well. Because it is a piston design, cleaning for this gun is actually pretty easy and simple.
