Dude check out a primary arms 1-6 with the 7.62x39 BDC. Those scopes are legendary tough and have a lifetime warranty (on the new generations)

2-300. That’s a decent amount of money to spend. I’m an optics guy, heck why not. I’ve seen the 7.62x39 preform well and yeah.
You can get darn good 3-9’s for that much. Bushnell elites are good clear robust scope, Burris E1’s are really slick with their turrets and reticle and good eye relief, Bushnell legends are pretty good (might have better eye relief than elite’s) and heck Nikon has a bunch in that price range (not a huge fan) vortex has its offerings, (the crossfire which I would never choose next to quality like and elite or Burris, their diamonds backs which I also would never choose for their prices and subsequent preformance) and yeah. For the most part they aren’t bad tho
So you can’t really go wrong, and you really save a dime in the equipment exchange if you find out what you want. Often there is Brand new stuff for sale. Save the tax and a bit off the top!

I have a CZ 527 carbine in both 7.62x39 and .223 and I really like the little rifles, other than that my 7.62 one split the stock really bad and required a significant bedding repair. IF YOU HAVE A 7.62 VERSION, GLASS BED / REINFORCE IT!
Back to scopes and rings. I ordered a set of Talley and Burris rings from Prophet River as I couldn’t find the Warne ones at the time. I mounted a Leupold 2-7 compact on the .223 and an old Simmons 2.5-8 Whitetail I had on the 7.62. In both cases, the rifles could have handled a lower ring height and still cleared the bolt handle. I actually find the Leupold compact a bit small and will likely replace it.
For your 7.62, I would recommend watching the EE for a decent used 1.5-5, 2-7, or even a 3-9 standard sized scope with an objective bell in the 32 size. A 36 mm objective may also work. Overall length needs to fit behind the rear sight as removing it is not a option for me. A used Leupold, Burris, Nikon, etc should be easily available if you watch for a bit. Some of the Bushell Elites Series were decent too and buying from a member here with a good rating pretty much ensures the scope will be fully functional. Heck, I have an old Tasco that is about 25 years old on a Savage 99 in .250 that still operates great and has done everything I ever asked of it. I love quality optics and have a Tangent Theta on a target rifle but I match the tool to the task and spend money where I think I need it, when I have it to spend. Stick to your price range, shop around and you can pick up a great scope for that rifle. Perhaps you can even save enough to buy some practice ammunition which generally pays bigger dividends than buying a higher priced accessory. My recommendation for a CZ 527 is always a Leupold.
They are good but the most important feature is the eyepiece dimension, which is a bit smaller than most other scope makers.
The problem with the CZ 527 platform is the bolt handle need to clear the scope eyepiece.

I picked up a NIB Burris Fullfield II, 3-9 on the equipment exchange for $200 plus shipping. I mounted it on my 527 carbine in .223 today and it fits the rifle well in .223. This is the first Burris I have owned in years but it seems to be a great optic for the price and I look forward to trying out the ballistic plex reticle at extended ranges. It adjusted to zero easily and offers reasonable eye relief. I previously had a Leupold 2-7 compact on the rifle which will likely transition to my 7.62x39.
So, there are good optics and deals to be found on the EE within your price range.

Use a low end Leupold (VX-1, VX-2) in a low magnification, if you must use a scope. For the limited effective range of the 7.62X39 though, irons are fine on the 527.
I scoped mine with a 3X9 Leupold before ultimately selling it and buying a clean-barrel varmint .204 CZ 527 that was intended from the start to be used with a scope, which alleviated the fitment problems with the rear sight, and made the scope no longer look like an afterthought.

I bought the Primary Arms 1-6 & a set of Warne medium height rings. Bolt handle clearance is about 1/4", perhaps a little less. Still easy to run the bolt quickly without hangups but surprisingly heavy. Haven't shot it yet but pretty happy so far.
