The Wal Marts I've been into has literally the cheapest .22LR I've ever seen anywhere.
Winchester 555 packs 36gr jacketed hollow points for $36.
$0.06 a round!
Have not seen it cheaper. All my .22's love it. It's excellent .22LR rifle ammo especially at that price.

No, I meant, that with the side door registry, a lot of shops will find it hard to keep doors open, with any type registry, the volume of sales will drop ( if it gets passed) and therefore less places to buy, the liberals know that this will slowly choke off the industry! Already there are a few CTC in our area getting out of the gun sales!
 
I went into Owen Sound Wal-Mart today - ammo cabinet is gone, no signs of knives either. Hunting related items (calls, trigger locks, rifle bags etc.) reduced to a 3' 3' wall display in the back corner...
 
Wal-Mart Ottawa Southkeys on Bank St. has half a dozen boxes of .270 Winchester Super-X Powerpoint 130gr left for $15.00 a box. That's it for centrefire. No rimfire and about a dozen boxes of .12 at $10 off.
Manager is a condescending bottom feeder though, will not answer any questions or even look at you when you are speaking. Leaves a trail of slime as he walks.
 
I long ago had it with trying to buy ammo in an area Walmart. I would gladly see the whole chain itself wiped off the map if they didn't have those $5 DVDs.

OTOH, Walmart is a major asset for American shooters, ammo and everything associated with firearms, and firearms, it's clearly just the Canadian side that is so arrogantly antigun. Maybe only in the east of ON, but I don't know that.
 
Ammo totally gone from Stonebridge store in Saskatoon. No real loss since they were always high priced and poorly stocked. Walmart is my second least favourite store, only eclipsed by Chinadian Tire, as the most useless shooting sports store.
 
Walmart in Stouffville at hwy 48 has winchester 555 22lr for 19 bux. A couple of boxes of 22250 and 223, 100 rounds of winchester shotgun 2.75, #4, #2, #8 game loads for 20 bux.... Oh and some 3006 and other 9dds and ends that aren't really super cheap
. Left the store 30mins ago.
