Good luck with treatments! I lived through a bout of cancer already. It’s not always a given but it happens more and more these days. Here’s to you!

My house in NH is less than 3 hours drive from Qc, according to my Dr i am very responsive to the treatment so hope is high.

I did but find very annoying arguing with peoples who want everything for less, i'de rather give it away to love ones than price wise give it away to strangers, in this ordeal my patience is very low.

I noticed you selling off your guns a while back Carmel, but I don't remember any real bargains. I'm not surprised you got offers.
Most people don't even see the bargains as they are gone in minutes.

Yup. Firm retail'ish prices on common used items isn't a recipe for movement. The market is a cruel mistress and she'll her way eventually.

But hey, in the meantime, if you can give it away and it makes you and the recipient happy, there is value in that too.

I know people mean well when they say it but the outcome of losing "the fight or battle" implies one didn't fight hard enough or gave up, hardly the case for those living with the disease. We learn to cope, some need help, others don't but adapting to a new reality is what we must do.

I would rather say cancer is a journey through a different reality that only those who walk through that experience can understand, it is profound and in many cases enlightening.

Best of luck Caramel, hopefully your treatment is effective and you can keep on enjoying friends and family. I'm with you, i'd rather give my guns away to friends or family than complete strangers looking for a good deal. TC

I would think giving a firearm to a loved one, will put a bigger smile on your face, and whenever that day does come and your gone, that loved one can clean, hold and shoot that firearm and it will feel as if your close! The firearm I have had the longest is a .22 lakefield that my Dad got me for Christmas back in the 80s.. and will pass that on to one of my kids some day! Take Care, Frank
