Just getting ready to load for this and thinking of going with Campro 55gr bullets. I have H335 and Varget, but maybe CFE223 would be a better choice?

You can make up a few batches starting from 23gr to 25gr in 0.5gr increments and see which performs best for your rifle. Just check the reloading books/websites to verify the numbers before loading them up.

Any of those powders will work. Loading for an AR-15 is pretty simple, they're quite forgiving as long as your powder is suitable for the projectile weight.

Appreciate the advice guys, thanks. Are you using a Lee crimp die or just the standard crimp process on seating die?

I'm just using the standard crimp with the seating die. I don't crimp much.

i have the same AR. I Also use 55 gr campro with CFE 223. Works awesome!!!!

I use h335 with the 55 grain campro. No crimp. Not sure your powder throw method but h335 will meter a lot nicer than varget. My 550b throws h335 bang on almost every time

Actually I will be using my 550 to load. I am also thinking of CFE223. No harm in trying H335 as well.
