Ok am I crazy? I own a m&p 9 as well as a glock22 and I have a Glock 19 in the mail on its way and I am seriously thinking of getting a smith and Wesson sd9ve because it’s so cheap right now. Am I crazy? I’m intrigued by them
I've shot my sd9ve alot. It is a great reliable gun. I also own an MP 2.0. In comparison, the sd9 has a lower quality frame with a little more flex too it. But, it has a high quality stainless slide, and other than the trigger disconnect placement, it is nearly identical to the MP. The magazines are really nice and are stainless as well. As far as the trigger, don't jump on the "It's such a horrible trigger" train. The trigger is exactly what it was engineered to be. Long stiff pull. Those who can't get over it are missing the point of it's design (SD). I've shot it enough that I actually enjoyed learning the difference between it and the MP. It's something different, and in my opinion different is good. If your intentions are to by the SD then dump hundreds into it for a new trigger etc, then I'd have to say you are buying the wrong gun and overlooking the point of it's design. In that case, don't buy it. In any case, it's a cheap reliable fun shooter and it's a Smith

I decided to spend it on ammo. Besides that my safe has 6 pockets for pistols in the door and it’s all full up. Got the glock 19 in my hand now and it’s sweet. Gonna spend the cash on new sights for it

^^^ The guy already has an M&P 9, and a Glock on the way. Why waste $300? He can introduce new shooters with his other guns. Put that $300+ towards the PPQ. Much better use of that money.
