I'm new at this game. Is this something a novice can install, or do I have to take it to a gunsmith? My PSA-15's trigger is not very good.

Easy stuff. Go on YouTube, watch people taking out and installing trigger groups. Well, at least until YouTube deletes all of those channels (which is coming).

It not the most complicated operation in an AR but for the sake of not getting frustrated I would suggest you look at a few YouTube video on how to install/replace trigger and check out the suggested tools you will need to do this... to be Safe.

It is a great trigger. I installed one on my BCL102. It has a clean pull and crisp break. Well worth the $90.00.

I have both the ALG ACT and QMS triggers. Both awesome triggers for the price!

They have a nice clean brake but it takes both hands to pull the trigger. lol JK but mine is an honest 7 lb pull

Using the "slave" pin will save you lots of aggravation, install the trigger first and then the hammer, its much "easier" to install the hammer pin if you lock it back, make sure to have the hammer spring on the "right" side of the hammer.Keep the selector in the "fire" position, if need be use a small punch to line up the holes. Good Luck.

The trigger includes a 5.5lb spring and a reduced weight spring (purple), have you tried the purple spring? Is the 7lb measured? I've never seen the heavy spring go over 6lbs.

I run the 5.5. Tried the purple one first but got a bunch of light strikes so switched to the gold spring. No issues now. Would be nice to use the purple and get a light pull and clean break but, oh well! Still a great trigger. And the reset is loud!

Not absolutely sure but I think, since the ACT is linked to Geiselle, the charging handle must be this?
