I scored two nice Leupolds at the Calgary show. One is a Rifleman 2-7x33mm Shotgun/Muzzleloader. The other is labelled "Ultimateslam" 3-9x40mm. I got them at the KORTH booth. The young fellow said they had belonged to Mr. Korth's personal stuff. Good price, too! :)

I believe that Shockey used to hype the Ultimate Slam several years back. The Rifleman is the lowest end entry level scope in their line. Still a good scope, but nothing to run screaming in the streets about.

I picked up a vari-x 2 3-9x40 for 100$.
Same guy had some great deals on scopes,
Couple of old Lyman target scopes, a T-25, another Leupold target scope.
Most Leupolds were overpriced at the show however.

Well, I'll try to remember to stay off the street.

believe the utimate slam is the shotgun muzzle loader scope

Yes. Marked right on it. I'll use it as a "floater" to try out some of my old rifles. Reticle isn't quite right for 1000 yard shooting, but I'll struggle along with it, shooting at 100 yd. gong. :) I paid $100 each for the two scopes.

I am not a scope hound, so these are good enough for me. I used a $10 Fisher-Dietz fixed 4 power for my old 8mm-06 for a few years. The scope never needed any adjustment after it was sighted in. It has no turret caps on it either, but still does the job.

I have five Leupolds on CZ 455's and one on a 452 FS.
