I've been lusting over this pistol for ages and I am finally in a position to get one but have absolutely no idea where to find one. I've searched all my local shops and site sponsors but still can't locate one. :(
I ask the fine people here if you can point me in the direction of one and/or share your thoughts on the pistol if you own one.

Preferably I would like to avoid importing one from a third party US shop

Fired one back in the day when FN put on a demo in Vancouver when they first were coming into Canada.

Interesting but never enough to buy one myself.

When the huge Bass Pro opened in Las Vegas I was there just after & they had a whole pallet of ammo for cheap.

Not so much up here, though.

I have it on my list to buy in NH, if i find some in an american dealer, i can let you know, you can call Prophet or Irunguns to bring it for you.

Fascinating little gun. Snappy but light recoil in my opinion. Accurate but has a decent muzzle blast, unexpectedly large for a small caliber like 5.7x28. Can be really accurate with a bit of practice.

I always enjoyed my PS90 more, the designers went full on into the acid trip when designing that gun lol.

Questar is where I bought mine. IT's a really cool gun, nice and accurate, makes you wish for a 30rd mag, Ammo can be sourced at a few places, SFRC, Durham, Questar and Wild West to name a few.

irunguns has them in stock in Canada, or did last week when i was there looking.

my Dad picked up a 5/7 off them couple years back, its one of his favorites and i must admit im lusting over that pistol!
i cant wait for the day it gets passed down to me, im gonna pick up a PS90 to pair with it.

it is the most unique handgun i have ever shot.
its so light and smooth yet the fireballs it belches out are soooooo impressive!
it feels snappy to shoot but the muzzle flip is next to nothing.

and as for ammo, i talked to SFRC a couple years back about getting in 5/7 ammo and every time i go there they look to be in stock, also irunguns usually brings in ammo as well for them, couple other companies do, you just need to know where to look.

Ohhhh. Those P90s are something. PS90 would be a fun choice for Kanuckistan

I have an original Belgian Tactical model with the multi coloured sights. I quite enjoy shooting it. As far as I know it is the only one of the Tactical version that was imported before they discontinued them for the IOM and USG models

I love this pistol and would love to shoot one but for 2000 dollars I doubt I will ever own one and the ammo is as expensive as my 338 Lapua.

Geesus I really hope you are not paying anything close to 5 bucks a shot for 5.7x28. (Either that or you are getting a bargain on .338 components and loading yourself.)

In bulk if you bargain and shop it can be as low as ~$0.50 a cartridge, and even at more expensive 50 round box prices shouldn't exceed a buck a shot for 5.7 in my experience. (Albeit a year or two since I last purchased, so maybe the market changed?)

They are buggers to reload because the brass stretches so much, but can still get 2-3 reloads providing you don't tumble and remove the lubricating coating (especially important for the funky P90 magazine, but still important with the 5.7) a simple 40 or 55 grain .223 projectile and a small pistol primer with a few grains of powder is awful cheap, dies aren't bad either. Just my .02

I have a 5.7 pistol and would like a PS90 the only thing that is stopping me is the 5 round mag capacity. Just can’t wrap me head around it.

The exact reason why I won't buy a PS90 here. It's a pain in the ass to load, and the mags are expensive. So the 5 round mag restriction just makes it unbelievably stupid.

So far no solid solutions for buying a Five Seven that I don't have to import BUT I want one even more now after reading all your posts about how awesome they are ;)

Too bad. You must have just missed the one on the IRG Canadian web site. It was just up there a couple days ago. Maybe they will get more. Could always try a wtb.

ya IRG had a couple on their site last week for around $1300.
ya know, you might want to call them, maybe they just pulled them down off the site.
usually they still show guns even if they are not in stock, so the pistols not being on the site seems strange.
id call.
its not like the 5/7 are a high volume seller being so $$.
